Six themes to match your monitor, lighting, and preference.
Available Themes
Untaxed Dark (Default)
Pure black background (#0a0a0a) with green accents. The signature Untaxed look. Best for OLED monitors and dark environments. Highest contrast for the green accent elements.
Dim
Slightly elevated dark (#1a1a2e) with muted, desaturated tones. Easier on the eyes for extended trading sessions. Good for users who find the default too harsh.
Midnight Blue
Deep navy background (#0d1b2a) with cool blue undertones. Creates a calm, focused atmosphere. Popular for late-night trading.
Solarized
Warm, balanced palette inspired by Ethan Schoonover's Solarized color scheme (#002b36 base). Teal-ish greens with warm text. Scientifically designed for readability across lighting conditions.
High Contrast
Near-black background (#111111) with bright white text and vivid accent colors. Maximum readability for users with vision concerns, bright monitors, or sunlit environments. Every UI element stands out sharply.
Light
Bright, clean interface (#f5f5f5 background) with dark text. For users who prefer light mode or trade in well-lit rooms. Green accents are adjusted for contrast on light backgrounds.
How to Switch Themes
- Open Settings from the bottom navigation.
- Find the Appearance section. The current theme name is shown.
- Tap to expand. Six color swatches appear.
- Tap any swatch to apply immediately — no save button needed.
- The theme persists across sidebar closes, browser restarts, and extension updates.
Theme-Aware Components
The theme system uses CSS custom properties, so every element adapts automatically:
- All sidebar UI, buttons, cards, and text
- The Settings page (standalone tab)
- Birdeye chart embeds (switches between dark/light chart themes)
- PnL cards and shareable images
